  • Effortless Gigabit Networking

    In addition to delivering Gigabit Ethernet data transfer speeds up to 2000 Mbps, the D-Link DGS-105 Switch provides a host of advanced features, including front-facing ports with dual-colored LED indicators, allowing users to quickly distinguish link status and speed. It supports Quality of Service (802.1p QoS) functionality, which organizes and prioritizes time-sensitive and critical data for efficient, seamless media streaming and VoIP calling. A Kensington Security Slot on the rear panel allows users to securely and conveniently fasten the DGS-105 to a table or desk.

  • Cable Diagnostics Function

    The D-Link Cable Diagnostics Function enables users to gain instant notification of cable conditions through the Switch’s front-panel LED display. Users can determine whether the cable’s pin connections are correct, facilitating prompt network troubleshooting if needed.

    A plug-and-play networking switch, the 5-Port Unmanaged Switch is built with D-Link Green Technology, saving saving energy and reduce heat dissipation with a rugged all-metal chassis. As a result, the DGS-105 maintains an extended product life without negatively impacting performance or functionality. The Switch supports IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE), which detects when a connected device is shut down or when no Ethernet traffic is detected. As a result, it automatically powers down the idle port saving a substantial amount of power output. In addition, the Switch also saves energy by detecting cable lengths delivering only necessary power. Working in unison, these features drastically reduce energy consumption, extend product lifespan substantially save on costs.
